Privacy Policy

This policy explains what the Tikio app and the tikio.app website collect, why, who it is shared with, how long it is kept and how you can delete it. Contact: contact@tikio.app.
1. What the app collects

We never ask for your social media password and never log into your social accounts.
2. Who we share it with
- Google / Firebase (hosting, database, sign-in, notifications, analytics, crash reports) and Google Play (payments).
- Social media data providers that look up public profile and post data from the username or link you enter: RapidAPI providers, livecounts.io and our fallback service.
- Order fulfilment provider (SMM panel) that delivers paid followers, likes or views: receives the username or link and the quantity.
- Amazon Web Services (SES) to send email.
We do not sell personal data. Other Tikio users can see your public username and profile picture in the follow exchange.
3. How long we keep it
- Account data: while your account exists. It is deleted when you delete your account (see below).
- Purchase records: kept without your name, email or links for 10 years (the period Moroccan accounting law requires) for refunds, chargebacks and accounting.
- Fraud prevention: a blocked social username may be kept for 3 years.
- Crash and analytics data: as set by Firebase (up to 14 months).
- Email preferences: if you unsubscribe, your email address stays on a do-not-email list so we never email you again. We keep it for as long as we send email.
4. Delete your account and data
In the app (version 4.7 and later): Settings → Delete account. Without the app, or on an older version: follow the steps at tikio.app/delete-account. Deleting removes your profile, coins, orders in progress and follow history; purchase records are kept anonymized as described above.
5. Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction or deletion by writing to contact@tikio.app. You can turn off notifications in Settings and unsubscribe from emails with the link in each email. Depending on where you live (for example the EU or Morocco), you may also complain to your data protection authority.
6. Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored on Google Cloud. Access on our side is limited to what is needed to run and support the service.
7. Children
Tikio is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger; if you think a minor uses Tikio, write to contact@tikio.app and we will delete the account.
8. The tikio.app website
- Free tools: the usernames, links or hashtags you type are sent to our servers and to social media data providers to fetch public data, and are not linked to you.
- Email list: if you leave your email on the website, we store it (Supabase) to send you Tikio news, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
- Google Analytics measures visits with cookies. You can block them in your browser.
9. Independence
Tikio is independent and not affiliated with TikTok/ByteDance, Meta, X or Google.
10. Changes
We will update this page and the date above when this policy changes.
